I have been very busy so I have not had a chance to post lately. Thank you for viewing my blog. This is a card I made for a techniques class. I used the Stampin' Up! Fruit Stand set, stampin on Very Vanilla and then layering on Always Artichoke, Rose Red and Barely Banana cardstock. This is a great set for cards, any decor and for coasters made with tumbled tiles.
I stamped the image and used my ink pad refills and the aqua painter to color the image. I then put two coats of Glassy Glaze enamel on the top using Versamark ink. I heat set each coat separately and then put the image in the freezer for about 10 minutes. The instructions say 2 minutes but I could not get it to crack after 2 minutes. When I removed it from the freezer, I gently bent the cardstock until I heard it crack. Don't do it too fast or the glaze will pop off. I did that one time and I messed up the entire card. I took a sponge and rubbed Chocolate Chip ink over the entire card. Rub the ink off with a paper towel and then you will see the cracks better. I hope you will try this because it is a fun card to make. Have a beautiful day and come back soon. Martha
