I wanted to give my downline something on cruise. I saw a bracelet in Paper Crafts Magazine, April-May 2008, page 52 by Nichole Heady. I decided to make a similar bracelet from our Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, build a brads and Stampin' Up!'s Summer Picnic Designer Paper. It looks so summery. You can make it in any color ribbon and it seems to go well.
I cut 2 strips of ribbon at 7 1/2". I had to figure a way to make the build a brads fit the 1/2" circle punch that I had. It seems to be a bit larger than the Stampin' Up! circle punch. I punched 7-8 flowers in the 3 colors. I took a styrofoam plate and turned it upside down, punched the build a brads in the bottom of the plate so they would stand up evenly. I put a dab of Crystal Effects on the brad and layered the punched flowers and then covered the flower with more Crystal Effects. I allowed it to dry overnight.
Next morning I punched 1/16" holes in one piece of ribbon evenly spaced and placed a brad in each hole. I flattened the brad wings and made sure they were diagonal with the ribbon.I layed the second piece of ribbon on the back to hide the brad wings and slip stitched the two ribbons together. I cut the ribbon to size if it was too long. Small wrists need about 7" of ribbon. I found some ribbon clasps at Michaels and secured them on each end of the ribbon and put a clasp on the end.
I hope you will try it.

LOVE it!!!!!
