Look at my quilt. I made it in about 6 hours using the Big Shot to cut all the scallop circles. I am so excited because I love to quilt. This one is so bright and cheery. All you need is the Big Shot by Sizzix purchased through me at Stampin' Up! and the Scallop Circle Die and the Scallop Circles #2 die. You can cut 8 layers of fabric at one time. There are 64 scallops (large) cut with the Scallop Circle. The two smaller scallop circles can be cut at one time and in 8 layers. WOW this is so easy and fun to do. I sewed my borders on and then glued the scallops on the quilt using our glue stick. I took the quilt to a wonderful long arm quilter, Jeanne McBrayer, and she did the most gorgeous machine stitching. She does it free hand without any patterns. The back of the quilt is just as pretty as the front. Her quilts can be seen on her blog www.allthingsquilty.com . She has really beautiful quilts. I have already started another quilt. I could make one a week but the money would run out. You can order the Big Shot from me and the dies and get started on your own quilt. Have fun..... Blessings, Martha

Martha!
I LOVE your quilt! Did you do the borders FIRST? Then add the scallop circles? Did you sew the scallops together, and then apply them as a unit? Did you measure to place them on the quilt? It is beautiful. I am anxious to hear the answers to my questions! I am going on a quilt retreat this weekend and would love to make it!
