Jan's Journal

This is Jan's journal.  She gave it to me as a gift at Convention.  She served on the Advisory Board with me.  She has become a dear friend.  Her journal is made with a Stampin' Up! Missy's placemat

My dear friend Missy  gave me this lovely placemat made with flowers from the Big Shot.  The tag was on the package.  Missy is so talented and always makes lovely things for gifts.  The placemat is Rose Red and is crocheted around the edge.  What a cute idea for gifts for Christmas or birthdays for your good friends.

Christmas will be here before we know it.  I will be having stamp camps so you can make a variety of Christmas cards.  I will be putting them on my calendar soon so check the calendar in about a week.  Have a beautiful day.  Thanks for looking.  Martha 

Sweet Shop at Convention

Here are a series of pictures from the Sweet Shop at Convention.  All the items are made with Cardstock, ribbon and buttons plus some other accessories.  They looked good enough to eat.  Stampin' Up! always puts on a wonderful Convention.  This Sweet Shop was the cutest.  I wish you could have been there to see it.  It was a huge display.

 

  

My Friends on the Advisory Board 2009-2010

 


Here are my dear friends that served on the Advisory Board last year.  July 25th we had a new Advisory Board.  Serving was quite a experience and a great honor.  I love all these girls. They have become best friends for life.  Pictured left to right are Christy Harsch, Kim Peck (our leader), Kimberly VanDiepen, Martha on the front row.  One the second row is Robin Merriman (returning to the Board), Tara Bazata, Ann Clemmer and Jan McClurg.  I think we make a great team.  Blessings, Martha

More from Convention

Here is another trading card I made.  The penguin is from the Every Little Bit stamp set by Stampin' Up! It has lots of darling little stamps.  I love little stamps because you can stamp them anywhere - on notes, envelopes, cards , gift tags  -  so many uses.  I used the new Well Worn background stamp on Pumpkin Pie cardstock and the designer paper is Island Oasis.  Of course I had to use the new petal card punch.  I love the new punches.  They seem a lot sharper to me and easier to punch with. 

Yesterday was my birthday.  I received so many wonderful cards and phone calls from friends.  Thank you all for thinking of me.  I love getting cards.  Have a beautiful day.  If you need supplies to make your cards, please place a order with me.  Thanks and Many blessings to you.  Martha

Convention Swap Cards

  Hi Everyone,

Here is my convention swap with the SUDSOL group.  I had so much fun working with Debbie  and Mary who came over to help me stamp and assemble my trading cards.  They were such a big help.  I guess I would not have any trades except for their help.  

I used Wild Wasabi for the holder of the tag.  The stamp set is Christ is Born.  I love this set.  I embossed the words in Whisper White.  The tag is actually a scallop circle for the Big Shot (Scallop Circle #2) and a piece of white cardstock 4 1/4 X 3 1/4" which I attached the scallop cirle to.  The circle is stamped with A Wish For Peace stamp set.    Can you believe Christmas is not so far away.  Now is the time to make your cards.  I will be having stamp camps August - November so you will have a variety of cards to send to your friends.  I have another variation of this card:
