The Sounding Joy

We are getting closer to December....  Christmas is coming.  Are you ready?  I am not even close to being ready.  i have so many things to make and all my shopping to do.  I think I will go shopping with my list and get it all in one day.  Is that possible?  I am going to Bizzarre Bazaar in Richmond  on December 1,  I get alot of my gifts there.  I love to give something handmade, even if I didn't make it.  The show in Richmond is at Richmond International Raceway and it runs through Sunday, December 4.  If you get a chance to go, it is well worth the trip.  It takes me about 2.25 hours to get there.

My card today is made with my very favorite new set this year.  It is called The Sounding Joy.  I used Whisper White as my base card, layered on brushed gold and then Real Red cardstock.  I stamped the star in Real Red and cut it out by hand.  I embossed "Joy" in gold and used the direct to paper method on the edges.  So simple, yet beautiful.  I hope you will try it.  Blessings, Martha
