WOW, I am back from Convention in Salt Lake City. I had a blast. There were 18 in my downline that went and 4 adoptees. We had dinner at Olive Garden and swapped cards. What a fun evening.....22 for dinner - I need to learn how to organize. I am still sorting thru swaps, 3-D items and all my make and takes (they aren't finished yet).
My butterfly card is the card I swapped at my downline dinner. I loved making the card but it was a little time consuming to make 21 cards. I used a sponge to layer the colors on watercolor paper. I used (In order that I used them) Daffodil Delight, Regal Rose Baja Blue Marina Mist and Midnight Muse. On the bottom, I used certainly celery, Old Olive and Artichoke. The flowers are stamped in Midnight Muse. The stamp set is Serene Silhouettes (127322/127324) and every stamp in the set is beautiful. The butterfly is made using the Beautiful Wings embosslit. I used the new Finishing Touches edgelits for the cut lace on the side. I hope you love my card as much as I loved making it. If you would like to place a order to amke this card, I will send you instructions if you want them. Have a beautiful day. Martha
