Another card for men

HI Everyoen,

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  I hope you enjoy my cards.  Here is another card for the men in your life.  I will have this card ready for you if you register for class Thursday, Feb 28 at 6:30 PM or 1 PM.  I cased this card but changed the Designer Paper and the sentiment.

Class Card

Here is one of the cards we will be making in my Men's card class on Thursday.  I love this card.  I got the design from Liz and she got it on the internet.  I changed the designer paper and the colors.  It is a perfect card for my husband who loves sailing.  I love sailing too and hope we can get a boat soon.  I am saving all my SU profits to buy Joe a sailboat.  You can help me reach my goal by ordering from me.

Cute Dress card

Here is a similar dress card stepped up a bit.  I am so in love with this Dress Up Framelits (130101)and All Dressed Up stamp set (129171W/129174C).  Did you  know they come in a bundle (131096W/131095C) and you save 15%?  I used Daffodil Delight for the card and embossed the front using the Chevron (127749) embossing folder.  The dress is made from the Polka Dot Parade DSP (126902).  So many bright rich colors.  I love them all.  Did you see the pearl necklace.  Just right for this dress.  So very cute.  I hope you like it.  Came back for a visit.  Make a cup of tea and share with me.  Blessings, Martha

Another pretty card

Hi - thanks for visiting my blog.  Here is a card I made to share with my downline at our meeting on Saturday.  I want to remind them that they can use our embossing folders and vellum to make a very pretty card.  Here I used the Delicate designs folder (127023) ran it through the Big Shot at the bottom of a piece of vellum  5 1/4 X 4". I adhered a piece of Summer Smooched (125409) to a half sheet of Whisper White cardstock ((100730).  I used the 5/8" White Organza ribbon(114319) layered with the 1/8" taffeta in Real Red (119251).  I made a small tag using the Tiny tags stamp set ((118091w/118592C) and punched with the Jewelry Tag (117190).  The flower is made with tow punched.  I punched 3 Scallop circles (119854) and 2 smaller scallop circles(127811), sprited with water and crushed them.  I ipened them up a little and allowed them to dry.  I used a rhinestone brad for the center.  I hoe you like my card and will make it also.  Blessings to you.  Martha

Ferris Wheel SAB card

I found a card similar to this on the internet and liked its simplicity.  Sometimes we just need a simple card to send.  This one would be good to send to a man.  We all need cards to send to the men in our life.  Have a great day

I am not usually a fan of Perfect Plum.  But lately I have been using it for a lot of my cards.It is really a beautiful color and I wish they would bring back Pale Plum to go with it. I put the card through the Big Shot and the Lacy Brocade (127819)for a textured look.  I love glitz so I added a trip of silver glimmer paper. I used the Praying Hands (122043) stamp and a verse from Trust God and stamped all in Perfect Plum.  I also colored the flower in plum.
The world is such a mess now and we all need to trust God to help us get through the mess.  He has given us 2 hands - one to receive and one to give.  Have a beautiful day full of blessings.  Martha

Easter dress, purse and bonnet

I have found a new love....  The Dress Up framelit die.  I thought about Easter.  Do you remember when everyone used to buy a new dress, shoes, purse and hat for Easter?  This is why I made this card.  It is too cute.

Wouldn't you know I would stamp my words crooked.  I must have a crooked eye.  I used the Everyday Enchantment DSP (retired but on the Clearance Rack for CHEAPPP!!!).  This DSPO is the most beautiful paper ever at Stampin' Up!.  If I were you, I would go to my website at http:stamp4martha.stampinup.net , click shop now and get on the clearance rack to order this gorgeous DSP.  The card is Calypso Coral and the floor is Pool Party.  The hat and purse is made using the cut in the Holiday Collection Framelits.  I love framelits.  I wish they were made for every stamp set we have....  I had to dree sup the dress form with a rhinestone and I dotted a necklace with the silver marker.  How do you like it?  I'm in love....  Have a happy day.  Blessings, Martha

Pinwheel Flowers

This is a cute card I made for you.  I am in love with our Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper.  So, I thought the pinwheels would be fun using it.  Our Spring Mini Catalog has a pinwheel sizzlit to make the pinwheels.    I used my bone folder to curl the pinwheels a little before folding to the center.  I used my paper piercing tool  thru the center hole, then added each corner on top to the center.  If you have ever made a pinwheel, I hope you understand this.  I could not seem to get all the holes lined up so I could put the brad through the center.  The paper punch helped me do that - put the piercer up through the back of the pinwheel and add each little flag to it.  Hold it and remove the piercer then add the brad.  it's much easier for me to do it this way.  I cut some green DSP to make the stems and punched the leaves with the Blossom Petal Builder Punch.  I think if makes a fun birthday card.  I hope you like it.  Come back this week for more of my ideas and tell your friends about me.  Blessings, Martha

Soooo Pretty

Here is a card I cased.  I think it is beautiful.  I changed the colors and stamps.  I started with Crumb Cake 1/2 sheet of cardstock.  I layered a doily, then a 1" strip of DSP from our International Bazaar.  I used a 1" strip of Perfect Plum card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Argyle embossing Folder.  Then I used the 1" square punch to make the flag bottom (not sure what you call it).  Don't you just love the Delicate Detail Lace tape.  It is perfect for this card.  I stamped the leaves from Summer Silhouettes in Lucky Limeade on Whisper White card stock and then the words form Pursuit of Happiness were stamped in Perfect Plum. I used the new Oval framelits to cut out the oval.  I added the flower using the 5/8" Flower trim colored with Perfect Plum.

Do you know how to color the flower trim flowers?  Just put it on your ink pad (flower top down) and tap it lightly on the back.  If you don't get enough color the first time, tap it some more.  it's easy as pie....
