Do you love butterflies?

Have you seen the new Butterflies Framelits in the new Occasions Mini Catalog?  They are beautiful.  In this card, I used Tempting Turquoise and cut the butterfly out.  The best way to cut it out is to make your sandwich for the Big Shot using a cutting plate, then your cardstock, then 2 layers of wax paper, then your framelit, and end with another cutting plate.  The wax paper causes the cardstock to slip right out of the framelit after you run it through the Big Shot.  Don't forget to clean the wax paper out of the framelit because a few layers stuck in the framelit will cause the framelit not to cut until it is cleaned out. The stamp set is Painted Petals.  I used Pear Pizzazz  designer paper and also sponged the edge of the card with the matching ink.  The pearls on the butterfly give it more dimension.  I hope you like it.  Thanks for stopping by.  Blessings, Martha

Painted Petals

The Occasions Mini Catalog is full of wonderful cards to make.  I used the Painted Petals stamp set  (138819W,138822C or 137146P) to make this card.  I love this card because of the bright colors.  I used Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Tangelo Twist for the flowers.  My designer paper is from the Brights Backgrounds color collection (130134).  The ribbon is a Sale-a-bration freebie.  I hope you love my card as much as I do.  Blessings, Martha

 

Valentine Card

We have a new stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog that I fell in love with.  It is Cute Critters (137932  $14.95).  The critters are so cute and they have some great words to go on their signs.  I used the Confetti Heart Border punch to punch out the tiny hearts (137415  $21.95).  This punch is so versatile for stamping borders and using the hearts also to glue on your cards or scrapbook pages.  We have some wonderful Valentine stamps in our Occasion Mini catalog on pages 4 - 9.  Check them out.  There is even a set your children can use for making their own valentines to give to friends.  They will have fun and you will have peace and quiet while they are stamping.  Blessings, Martha

Indescrible Gift Card

I am looking forward to Spring.  I know, I know it is a long way off.  I'm just hoping it comes early this year.  I am tired of rain, cold and ice.

Here is my spring card.  I used the stamp set Indescrible Gift ( 137180W $20.95/138515 Clear $15.95).  I stamped the image in Memento jet black ink on Shimmery Paper (101910 $7.95).  Shimmery Paper works best with our Blendabilities. I used the Pink Pirouette (133625) and the Wild Wasabi (133624) blendabilities.  The coloring is much softer and blends very well.  Try it and you will see the difference, plus it is shimmer in the color.  It is so pretty.  I hope you like it and will place a order with me.  Have a blessed day.  Martha

 

My Latest Quilt

I made a new quilt and gave it to my niece.  We both love tea and so I thought she might like a quilt with teapots on it.  It turned out beautiful.  Quilting is my second love next to my rubber stamping.  I stamp more than I quilt - all crafts are wonderful.  God gave each of us the ability to craft.  All you have to do is try and it will come to you.  You will make new friends along the way.  Have a blessed day.  Martha

January Scrapbook Pages

Another year....WOW the last year went by so fast.  Here are my pages for January for my club. I used Night of Navy for the pages and Birthday Bash Designer Paper (137783  $12.95).  Our new designer papers are the best ever.  I used the Sale-a-bration ribbon I received free with my order.  The words are cut out using the Little Letters framelits (133730 for $28.95).  WWO, these are so easy to use.  Imagine your cards and pages with words athat are easy to cut and line up. Plus, you can cut them in the color of your choice to match your page.

December Scrapbook Pages

I know I am a little late with my December Scrapbook pages, but I have a good excuse.  I used some retired cardstock 12 X 12 for the page - Bordering Blue.  Wish they would bring that color back.  It has just a hint of gray and blue that is perfect for a snowy day.  I used Lovely as a Tree stamp set for the background and the tree in the foreground on page 2.  The other stamps are retired except for the Holy Family.  I hope you like these pages.  Have a blessed New Year.
