I am in love with the new Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (152483). It has Petal Pink, Basic Gray and Gray Granite colors. Here is one of my cards I made for my club cards this month. I gave them a choice of using Petal Pink or Rococo Rose Blends to color. They turned out beautiful.
This card base is Basic Gray (121044). The designer paper need to be cut 1/8" smaller on the length and on the width to measure 5 1/8" X 3 7/8". On the bottom left side measure in 1 1/4" to the left side of the card and put a tic mark. Then from the same corner measure up 1 1/4" up towards the top. Cut the DSP from the top left corner to the first tic mark. that is the lower side of the card, then pivot the DSP from the top corner to the other tic mark and cut. Now you have all 3 pieces to make the card. I colored the middle piece with my blends. Attach all 3 pieces to the card front leaving a tiny bit of gray cardstock in between each piece. Add a sentiment and ribbon and you are finished. Thanks for visiting my blog today.
