Doctor card

I was looking at Facebook a couple of weeks ago and found this card by Gail Murray.  I loved the card so much I had to make it.  It's perfect to send to your doctors.  The blue one is for male doctors and the green one is for female doctors. I used Basic White cardstock as the base card.  I cut the white coat using the Suit & Tie Dies.  You can use any designer paper for the shirt or blouse.  The stethoscope is made using the Stitched Be Mine dies (151814).  I cut the heart outline in half  in Basic Black and added the Silver Foil heart  on the end.  tow matte black dots were added to the ear pieces.  The other end of the stethoscope  is a 3/4" circle punch in black and a 1/2" circle in silver foil.  This is a darling card that any doctor would appreciate and talk about it for days.  

A Birthday card

Here isa simple birthday card I made for my friend Debbie.  One of my favorite stamp sets is Happiest of Birthdays (152539).  It has great fonts and stamps for male and female.  I am so happy it is not retiring.  On this card I used Pool Party as the base card.  I embossed it with the Parisian Flourish 3-D embossing folder.  This is another favorite of mine.  It is so elegant.  I had some pieces of left over Butterfly Brilliance designer paper so I used them on the corners.  I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and put on Pool Party embossing powder  and heat embossed it.  The Pool Party embossing powder retired long ago but I love to use it.  I added our rhinestones to give it some sparkle.  I hope you love this springtime card.
