Plentiful Plants

 

I love plants.  Stampin' Up! has a new set Plentiful Plants that I have fallen in love with.  On this card I used the Bloom Where You are Planted DSP (155696) and the Paper Lattice (155697).  I hand cut the flower pots from the designer paper and attached them with multipurpose glue (110755).  I made this a sympathy card because I am send it to a friend who lost a loved one.  She loves plants.  I wish I could grow plants.  I seem to kill them over time and I don't mean to.  I love the card. I hope you will purchase this set and make some cards.  The coordinating stamp set and dies can be purchased in a bundle(155688).  There are lots of samples in the 2021-2022 Catalog and Idea Book.  I also covered the envelope flap with the DSP.  

Brilliant Wings

Here is a Easy card to make for any occasion.  I used Poppy Parade ink and cardstock and Mango Medley cardstock and ink.  I wet watercolor paper using the faucet.  i wanted it very wet.  I got my inks and tapped the color on to the wet watercolor paper and let it merge together.  Use vibrant ink as it will dry lighter.  I allowed drying time (or use the heat gun to dry faster).  On Basic White 5 X 3 3/4" I cut the Brilliant Butterflies out then placed it on the watercolor paper.  I added a sentiment and some Champagne Rhinestones.  glue the winged butterflies in the appropriate place using glue dots and bring the wings up for dimension.  I hope you will try this gorgeous card.  Thanks for stopping by.

Puffins are so cute

This is a new set in the new Stampin' Up! Catalog and Idea Book.  These little guys are so cute that they make your heart melt.  On this card I used the following

Basic White 1/2 sheet,  3 X 4" scrap, scrap for sentiment

2 Real Red 1/2 X 5 1/4" strips, scrap

Pattern Party DSP (hostess)

Stitched So Sweetly dies

Black Glittered Organdy ribbon

Markers or Blends, Memento Ink Black

 

Color & Contour card

Have you seen the new Catalog and Idea Book?  I am in love with the new stamps and designer papers.  Stampin' Up! excels when it comes to Designer paper.  I used Hand Penned DSP for this card the stamps are Color and Contour bundle.  Mint Macaron is my base card.  This is a simply pretty card that can be made in just a few minutes.  Let me know if you want a new catalog. Seascape Tower card

My stamping friends/customers requested a class in making a tower card. I had just received the Sea Life dies.  OMG have you used them.  The fish and the seahorse are drop dead gorgeous.  This tower card used Sahara Sand as my base card with Early Espresso mats and Basic White and the designer paper is Sand and Sea. The fish is petal pink.  When you die cut the images, they will need to be sniped so the fish becomes detached.  I used the new Ombre Specialty Paper for the seahorse so he is glitzy.  There is a lot of cutting of cardstock and designer paper for this card.  I found instructions on Split Coast Stampers under tower card.  I picked Mary Deathridge's card tutorial.
