Hand Penned Memories & More Stamp Camp - sign up today

I'm having a stamp camp on July 24.  I wanted to have my customers make some very quick and easy cards using the Hand Penned Memories &  More card pack and the Memories and More cards and envelopes.  At camp you will receive 1/2 pack of Hand Penned Memories and More cards & Envelopes, a 1/2 pack of Hand Penned Memories and More card Pack, 5 yards of White crinkled ribbon and an accessory pack to make 10 cards with envelopes.  The class is at 10 AM in my studio and the fee is $20.  If you sign up by July 5, I have 2 free bonus cards for you to make, so sign up early.  Payment is due when you sign up.  I will need to order products.2 weeks before class.  Email me at  [email protected] .  I accept PayPal.  If you do not live here, I will make you a kit with pictures of the cards.  They are very easy and quick to make.

Playing with Artistic Dies

I am so in love with the Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series paper (155464), so I needed to make some cards with it.  This paper is so gorgeous that I hate to cut it.  Since it has lots of gold in the DSP, I used the Artistic dies to cut images in our gold foil paper. I would suggest you put our adhesive sheets (152334) on the back of the gold before cutting.  I also used some wax paper between the die and the gold so that the gold would come out of the die easier.  I was surprised when I pulled the adhesive sheet off the back of the cut image, almost all of the pieces  and petals came off with the sheet.  Yea, no picking out the pieces that you don't want.  Have an awesome day.  Hugs, 

 

Everyone loves a Sea Horse

Everyone knows I am a beachy kind of girl.  I love anything in stamps, paper, dies and embossing folders that are beachy.  I had embossed some of our Pearlescent paper (154291) with the Seashells 3-D embossing folder (154309) and I left it on my table so my customers could see the fabulous dimension.  It had been there for a while so i decided to make a card with it.  This card turned out lovely and it only took a few minutes to make. The base card is Pool Party and I layered Coastal Cabana as the next layer.  I used the Sea Life dies (155684) to cut the sea horse in Petal Pink and the small fishes in So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather. The happy birthday is from the Art Gallery stamp set (158201) stamped in Bermuda Bay ink. This card kind of reminds me of the fabulous trip I earned with Stampin' Up! to Maui last month.

Maui Swap Card

Stampin' Up! held a card sway on my incentive trip to Maui.  Here is my card.  It is so very easy to make and a beautiful card for any occasion.  Any designer paper could be used.  Here is what I used:

Base Card is Mossy Meadow 5 1/2 X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" scored per instructions (133676)

Pear Pizzazz 5 1/4" X 4" adhered first to the inside of the card (131201)

Fine Art Floral DSP 5 1/4 " X 4" cut per instructions following (154558)

scrap of white for punch Elegantly Said (155762)

Here is the score pattern

At card front base put a tiny pencil mark at 2.75 inches.  Then turn the card and measure down 2 inches on each side and place a tiny pencil mark.  Score on the right and left sides from the top right to the center pencil mark on the bottom of the card.  Score from the 2" mark to the canter of the card.  Repeat on the left side.  Fold on the score line to make the arrow.  The DSP is marked at center bottom.  The DSP is put in my cutter and cut from the top to the center mark on both sides.   Pieces of DSP are adhered to the arrow and each side of the Pear Pizzazz on the inside of the card.  I added the mossy Meadow braided ribbon to the punch out in white.  Questions?  email me at [email protected] .  I received this idea from my NCDemos swap a few months ago.  Tamara Davis may have designed the card.  Enjoy....
