Simply INKredible Stamping

I don't usually put hearts on my cards but I know I should.  This is a lovely card I made for my card club.  Here is what I used to make the card:

Stamps:  Always in My Heart

Floral Heart Dies

Seaside Spray card back is 5 1/2" X $ 1/4", 1/4 of a sheet was used to cut the heart.  The heart was embossed with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder after the cutting.  Always emboss after cutting with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine.  If you emboss first your embossing will be smooshed (is that a word) during the cutting.

Whisper White is 11" X 4" scored at 5 1/2", a scrap for the clowers

Silver Foil scrap for the leaves.

Silver Embossing powder  with Versamark for the words.

Color & Contour card

Have you seen the new Catalog and Idea Book?  I am in love with the new stamps and designer papers.  Stampin' Up! excels when it comes to Designer paper.  I used Hand Penned DSP for this card the stamps are Color and Contour bundle.  Mint Macaron is my base card.  This is a simply pretty card that can be made in just a few minutes.  Let me know if you want a new catalog. Seascape Tower card

My stamping friends/customers requested a class in making a tower card. I had just received the Sea Life dies.  OMG have you used them.  The fish and the seahorse are drop dead gorgeous.  This tower card used Sahara Sand as my base card with Early Espresso mats and Basic White and the designer paper is Sand and Sea. The fish is petal pink.  When you die cut the images, they will need to be sniped so the fish becomes detached.  I used the new Ombre Specialty Paper for the seahorse so he is glitzy.  There is a lot of cutting of cardstock and designer paper for this card.  I found instructions on Split Coast Stampers under tower card.  I picked Mary Deathridge's card tutorial. Thanks Mary for making a great tutorial.   We made this card on my stamp day which is always the 3rd Saturday of each month.  Happy Mother's Day

Doctor card

I was looking at Facebook a couple of weeks ago and found this card by Gail Murray.  I loved the card so much I had to make it.  It's perfect to send to your doctors.  The blue one is for male doctors and the green one is for female doctors. I used Basic White cardstock as the base card.  I cut the white coat using the Suit & Tie Dies.  You can use any designer paper for the shirt or blouse.  The stethoscope is made using the Stitched Be Mine dies (151814).  I cut the heart outline in half  in Basic Black and added the Silver Foil heart  on the end.  tow matte black dots were added to the ear pieces.  The other end of the stethoscope  is a 3/4" circle punch in black and a 1/2" circle in silver foil.  This is a darling card that any doctor would appreciate and talk about it for days.  

A Birthday card

Here isa simple birthday card I made for my friend Debbie.  One of my favorite stamp sets is Happiest of Birthdays (152539).  It has great fonts and stamps for male and female.  I am so happy it is not retiring.  On this card I used Pool Party as the base card.  I embossed it with the Parisian Flourish 3-D embossing folder.  This is another favorite of mine.  It is so elegant.  I had some pieces of left over Butterfly Brilliance designer paper so I used them on the corners.  I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and put on Pool Party embossing powder  and heat embossed it.  The Pool Party embossing powder retired long ago but I love to use it.  I added our rhinestones to give it some sparkle.  I hope you love this springtime card.

Hey Chicks

Today I had friends stamping with me and I made this card.  The Hey Chicks bundle and the Birthday Chicks bundle were used.  I used Cajun Craze for the card base and layered a piece of the Gilded Autumn DSP (5 1/4 X 4).  It is the one with the speckles on it.  I thought it looked like someone had sprinkled chicken feed around.  I used Basic Gray for the chicken coop, Garden Green and Daffodil Delight for the corn stalk and daffodil for the chicks,  I stamped the chickens on Whisper White and colored one with Crumb Cake marker, Real  Red and Pumpkin Pie.  The overlay is a Window Sheet stamped with All Wired Up and Stazon ink.  There is a Cajun Craze frame (5 1/2 X 4 1/4") on top.  A scrap of Whisper White is used for the tag.   The light from my camera reflected on the window sheet in a couple of places so please disregard the two white areas.  Did you notice that two of the little chicks escaped the fence.  They are headed for trouble.  Lol. A sack of chicken feed is leaning on the frame.  I used Crumb Cake for that.

Paper Blooms

Sale-a-bration is going strong.  Paper Blooms is one of the freebies with a $50 order.  You can make so many cards or decorate boxes and bags.  During COVID, I have tried to send lots of Thinking of You cards to my friends who are shut in.  We have a group of ladies called the "Hungry Sisters" that meet once a month at a restaurant.  Most are widows and they say eating is a lonely time for them.  We were going to meet twice a month, but this pandemic hit and it has caused us to shut down for a while.  So I try to make a happy day for them by sending cards.  This card is very simple.  I used the designer paper for the flowers.  I had to fussy cut them out.  I did use a leaf punch (retired) for the greenery and a gold hoop to accent. 

The card base is: 

Whisper White 8 1/2 X 5 1/2" and a scrap for words

Paper Blooms DSP is 5 1/4 X 4
