Celebrate Sunflowers

I had friends in my Stamp Studio stamping on Saturday.  Everyone came up with some fabulous cards.  I had to make cards for my clubs and this is one of the cards I made.  We always need cards to say thanks.  The Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and dies  bundle (154065) have so much beautiful detail.

Here is a new technique that i found online.  I used Stampin' Up!'s Fluid 100 Watercolor paper (149612).  I wet the paper and let the water soak in a bit.  I then took a marker and drew lines in different colors and pulled the color out of each line.  I then allowed it to dry and added to my card.  The card is Coastal Cabana layered with Old Olive.  I stamped the sunflowers in Memento Black and colored with my Blends in Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Pretty Peacock.  The center of the flowers are Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody.  Thanks for visiting my blog today.

  On the 3rd Saturday each month, I have a card challenge.  Each person gets a kit of supplies and they share a stamp set and thinlits or punches.  Everyone has a great time and they always ask if we are having a card challenge.  Here is one of the challenges

When I first started the challenge, all the girls were nervous.  I wanted them to learn how to make cards at home .  Just pick a stamp set and accessories, then paper and ink.  They are not nervous anymore.

Feels Like Frost Card (Sneek Peek)

Here is another Christmas card I made from my new products in the Holiday catalog.  I used the following products:

This card is so quick and easy to make.  I embossed the "Believe" in silver embossing powder.  I hope you like it.  

Sweet Celebration

Hello Everyone,  Thanks for visiting my blog today.  I received this card in the mail from my Upline, Sue Berreth. Thanks Sue.  It was such a cute and easy card that I decided to use it for my clubs this month.  The stamp set is Sweetest Thing and I used the coordinationg Framelits and How sweet It is DSP.  The DSP pages can be cut out with the framelits.  How easy is that?  You do not have to color, just have some dimensionals close by to adhere to your card.  This set and DSP is also great for your scrapbook pages.    I hope you enjoyed visiting my site.  Have a blessed day.

Botanical Butterflies

Sale-a-bration has begun at Stampin' up!.  This is the best sale of the year.  Sorry I have not posted in a while.  Please forgive me.  I am so inspired with the new stamps in the Occasions catalog and the Sale-a-bration catalog, that I have been in my stamp studio for days making cards.  This card is using the Botanical Butterfly DSP in the sale-a-bration catalog.  It's free with a $50 order.  The paper has colorful butterflies on one side and black and white on the other side.  On the black and white side, you can color the butterflies in any color(s) you like.  The paper is gorgeous.   To make this card, you will need a few simple items.  Here they are:

Whisper White card 1/2 sheet, Botanical Butterflies dsp cut to 3 1/4 X 5 1/2", Botanical Butterflies black polka dot 5 1/2 X1"  Black Twine wrapped around the card and tied in a bow.The sentiment is stamped in Memento Black on a scrap ow Whisper White.  It is in the Humming Along stamp set in the Occasions catalog (pg 36).    Now that was very easy and what a beautiful card it is.   Have a beautiful day. 

Share What You Love kit card

Here is another quick and easy card for any occasion.  This one uses Sweet Sugarplum as the base (A-2) card and the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper.  I cut an oval out of white cardstock and stamped it with the Love What You Do stamp set.  I used the Layering Ovals to cut the black oval.  The ribbon is the Powder Pink Tinsel Trim (retiring).  I think it is gorgeous even though it is my design.   Thanks for stopping by....

Share What You Love Card ( another one)

Billi and I went to Tammy's home last week and this is one of the cards we made.  It's gorgeous.  It uses the Share What You Love kit that is on special at Stampin' Up! now.  With the kit you get some freebies.  This special will not be available after May 31 but the individual products will be in the new Catalog & Idea Book coming on June 1.  We used Old Olive as the card base We used the Share What You Love Designer paper, pearlized doilies, and the dainty roses in the  embellishment kit. Favorite Thanksgiving Card
